The Romanian National Rally Championship has 9 stages, with morethan 50

participating teams and an impressive presence of the local and national public

for each stage.

• The first round was held at Brasov from 31st of March to 1st of April. The rally was spread across a distance of approximately 300 km with 10 special stages, covering 104 km.

• The second round, the Maramures Rally, was held at Baia Mare, between 5-6 May. This second round was spread across a distance of almost 450 km with 16 special stages, covering a distance of more than 150 km.

• The Pietricica Rally, the third round of the Romanian National Rally Championship was held at Piatra Neamt, on 27-28 May. The total length of the Pietricica Rally is approximately 350 km of dirt road, with 10 special stages covering more than 140 km.The Sorin Badea-Sorin Itu team competed against the other 37 teams, occupying the 7^th place at the end of the race, thus gaining two points,  and the 5^th place in the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo Cup.

• The fourth round of the Romanian National Rally Championship, the Cluj Rally was held in Cluj-Napoca, between 17-18 June.

Its four special stages were held in the Fantanele-Belis lakes area, at the foot of the Apuseni mountains. The Dangau stage, the queen-stage of the Cluj Rally, with 18.6 Km, was again introduced on the tract.

The team Sorin Badea-Sorin Itu driving their MITSUBISHI LANCER EVO 7, after a race without any major problems, occupied the 7th place, gaining another two points and advancing on the 9th place in the half-season standings.
